Technical education in India has scaled over the last decade boasting of 1000s of engineering colleges spread across the length and breadth of the country producing over half a million engineering graduates annually.

- Graduate Aspirations - A Study By Aspiring Minds Research Cell
Aspiring Minds recently conducted a study to understand what kind of sectors and job profiles do fresh graduates prefer. A survey was conducted at two metros which attracts graduates looking for jobs from across the country. A total of more than 7500 candidates were sampled. All non-engineering degrees including B.Sc., BCA, B.Com., BBA, BA, BHM, etc. were included in the survey.

- National Employability Study IT/ITeS - Latest Report
Recently Aspiring Minds has again conducted the employability study of technical graduates based on the results of AMCAT conducted for final year engineering and MCA students across the country. The latest study by Aspiring Minds gives an insight into the low employability of IT graduates and provide an estimate of number of candidates require training to be eligible for any job in the IT/ITeS sector. It also says technical engineers have an edge over MCA graduates in IT product roles and KPO.

- North East Campus Placement Report
As the Government is thinking about setting up approximately 50 colleges in the North East, a major question is about the future of the students passing out from these colleges. A good curriculum, a brilliant set of students cannot fill up the vacuum in placements marred by civil unrest in the region. - National Employability Study IT/ITeS
Aspiring Minds has conducted India’s first employability study of technical graduates based on the results of AMCAT conducted for more than 40,000 engineering and MCA students (in final year) across the country. AMCAT covers all objective parameters for adjudging employability in the IT/ITeS sector including English Communication, Quantitative skills, problem-solving skills and Computer Science and Programming skills. Employability figures are based on actual hiring benchmarks on AMCAT scores set by multiple companies in IT/ITeS related sectors. - Challenges and Concerns with International Personality Assessments
Often, companies use personality tests constructed outside India for the purpose of recruitment, promotion inputs and training–requirement analysis. This white paper argues by means of analyzing the structure of these tests that international tests are not reliable in the Indian context.
