March 4, 2011: Aspiring Minds conducts survey in which it took into account the views of 19,000 engineering students across India and come with the finding that Bangalore is the most preferred destination to work in, as 72 percent voted for it. Delhi came 2nd which was preferred by 32 per cent, while Hyderabad was the favourite among 30 per cent of the students surveyed. Expressing his view on the survey Aspiring Minds Founder and Director Himanshu Aggarwal said "In India, Bangalore is the engineers' Mecca. It offers growth, options and a community of like-minded people. Bangalore has undoubtedly the largest base in terms of IT companies, opportunities and an existing engineering population". The survey got wide coverage in both print as well as digital media which includes TOI, Indian Express, The Hindu, Economics Times etc.
